Evangelicals in Slovakia amount to less than 1% of the country, no more than 6,000 in a population of 5.5 million. Slovakia is facing an evangelistic crisis. Very, very few people are able to write the kind of books to help meet this great need. Slovak church leaders have invited City Life Church to partner with ReFormatio imprint (View this page translated in English) to translate two evangelistic books for 2019. This Advent we aim to raise money to meet these needs.
It takes $5,000 to translate one book into Slovak. This cost includes translation, editing, publishing and selling the book. Our goal this Advent is to raise $10,000 so we can translate at least two books in 2019 (Is the Bible Intolerant? & The Unbelievable Gospel). Let’s give generously of what God has given us to help spread the gospel in Slovakia!
