When we try to keep pace with our society of speed, eventually we join the likes of Bob Dylan, “I was burned out from exhaustion, buried in the hail. Poisoned in the bushes, an blown out on the trail.” Though most won’t admit it, there is a poison in our addiction to speed. As leaders who seek to help and shelter others, its critical we learn how to rest, how to find “Shelter from the Storm.”
