Music for the City
MUSIC FOR THE CITY is a community of artists and Austinites investing their time and talent to be a positive, caring, and renewing presence in our city. This non-profit brings together two of the things that our city loves most--music and charity--to make Austin great. ACL Staff members, Nate Navarro and Kristin Vasquez, help make this happen in three main ways.
The Art of Giving
Through mentorship, art education, and service projects Music for the City gives artists and Austinites an opportunity to invest in the most economically challenged neighborhoods in our city.

Music for the City Albums
We release compilation albums annually that feature some of Austin's best up and coming artists, which directly benefits Austin non-profit organizations such as Safeplace, Austin Children's Shelter, and Mobile Loaves & Fishes.
Shows
Music for the City sponsors happy hours, concerts, and festivals to promote great local artists. Be sure to follow us on Twitter or check out our website to stay up to date.
Get Involved
We are always looking for volunteers, artists, to help make great music and charity in Austin. To find out how you can get involved, drop us an email.
