Kids Life
OUR CHILDREN are a vital part of the church. They are not an inconvenience to be “watched” while we do church; they are the church, a precious responsibility and privilege, the future of the church, the city and the world.
We are committed to supporting families in raising their children. We believe this is best done in community by exposing children to diverse relationships of all ages, which happens primarily through City Groups. In addition, we equip parents to raise thier kids through gospel-centered teaching and training, as well as by developing teachers to provide great, age-focused Kids Life ministry during our Sunday gatherings.
Sundays (Infant to Middle School)
We focus on safely and creatively pointing them to Jesus every week as we share the Big Story of God taught in the redemptive history of the Bible. All Kids Life servants are interviewed and receive a background check. Every child is securely checked in and out each week and sent home with crafts and lessons to review with their parents.
City Groups
In City Groups we work to involve our kids every week by including them in the meal and occasionally in our prayer times. We believe it is important for kids to watch adults worship and do life together in Christian community. We also encourage City Groups to do a short, age appropriate recap of Sunday's sermon or to use the Sunday take home lesson to further discuss what they are learning in Kids Life.
