College Life Events

Welcome back to school! This fall we have a lot going on and are really excited about the upcoming semester. Below are several upcoming events that we will be hosting. If you are new to our ministry, these are a great place to get connected with other students and our church. Please email us if you have any questions and we hope to see you soon!

College Life Party | August 25^th

Where: Drew Palmer’s House (306A East 34th Street Austin, TX 78705)

When: August 25, 2011 | 7pm – 10pm (Come and go as you please)

What: Welcome to college, we are glad you are here! At Austin City Life, we love college students and believe they have a lot to offer to our church and the city. We also know that college students need a family while they are away from home. We would like to invite you to meet our family at an informal College Life Party. There will be food, music, and a lot of great people for you to meet and connect with. Come join us, we are excited to meet you!

Volleyball & P. Terry's | August 27^th

Where: Pease Park Sand Volleyball Courts

When: August 27, 2011 | 6:30 – 8:30 PM

What: We believe that spending time and having fun together is a big part of living as a community. We are excited to continue to get to know you as the school year is getting started! We would like to invite you to come and out and enjoy what’s left of summer by hanging out at the park. There will be volleyball, drinks, and a lot of great people for you to meet. After we finish up, we will head to P. Terry's on Lamar to grab some grub and chill. You are welcome to come to the first half, second half, or the whole thing. Hope to see you there and we are looking forward to hanging out with you!

Austin Stone on Campus | August 31^st

Where: Bass Concert Hall

When: August 31, 2011 | 7:00 PM

What: We believe that in order for you to both grow in your own faith and be a part of what God is doing in the world, it is vital that you become a part of a family of believers. At UT, there are multiple communities of believers who have a common desire to see students transformed by the good news of Jesus. We would like to invite you to hear our collective vision and become a part of a community on campus. Come talk to us afterward at our table outside the auditorium! We would love to connect with you.

City Group Gathering | September 6^th

Where: Lonestar Room in the Union (3.208)

When: September 6, 2011 | 7:00 - 8:30 PM

What: City Groups are where we get to be the church to one another, the city, and our campus. In other words, we think church is much bigger than a Sunday event. City Groups are diverse communities of people who are rediscovering what it means to do life together--to celebrate, suffer, eat, recreate, listen, and serve in community. Our City Group Gatherings are meant to supplement relationships centered on the gospel that are happening throughout the week. They are a great time for us to celebrate God’s grace to us through Jesus and press one another on toward his mission.
