College Life

College is a unique season of life. Students are entering new relationships, practicing new fields of study, and experiencing a new city—all for the first time. For most, this stage of life is filled with many new opportunities, possibilities, and uncertainties. It can be a bit overwhelming! In the midst of the excitement and nervousness, Austin City Life wants to share life with you.

We love college students and believe they have a lot to offer the church. In fact, to effectively be the church to one another and the city, we need all generations to be connected in community centered on the gospel. College Life is a ministry within Austin City Life that helps care for college students relative to their stage in life. College Life exists for three reasons:

1. To foster and cultivate an environment of discipleship: The gospel is not just the entry point in our faith, but the essential message that we continually need to hear. It is important that students learn to understand, grow in, and apply the gospel to their hearts.
2. To connect students to each other and the larger body of Christ: It is vital for students to be in relationship with each other AND families in the community.
3. To redemptively renew the college campuses in Austin: Students are the best missionaries to their campus.  Who better to love the campus then those who live, work, and play on it?
